Terms of Service

Last updated: April 14, 2026

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of Postelist (the “Service”), operated by Mailliberty (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By creating an account, submitting an address for verification, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. The Service

Postelist provides real-time email address verification. We query each address against its provider of record—including Microsoft, Google, Apple iCloud, Yahoo, QQ, NetEase, and SMTP-compatible domains—and return a classification of deliverable, undeliverable, or uncertain.

Verification is probabilistic. Results reflect the state of the provider at the time of the query and may change as mailbox state changes. We do not guarantee deliverability of any message you subsequently send.

2. Accounts

To use paid features you must create an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account.

3. Credits and Billing

Postelist is pay-as-you-go. You purchase verification credits up front. Credits do not expire and are consumed one per address submitted, regardless of verdict.

All purchases are final and non-refundable except where required by law. We may update pricing from time to time; changes apply only to purchases made after the update takes effect. Previously purchased credits remain valid at their original rate.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Verify addresses you have harvested, scraped, or otherwise obtained without a lawful basis under applicable privacy law (including the GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA, and similar regimes).
  • Support unsolicited bulk email, phishing, credential stuffing, or any activity that would cause your sending infrastructure, or ours, to be listed on a public blocklist.
  • Reverse engineer, rent, resell, or attempt to extract the underlying provider logic or probe datasets behind the Service.
  • Circumvent rate limits, quotas, or any technical restriction we place on the Service.

We may suspend or terminate access without notice if we reasonably believe your use violates these Terms or places the Service, our providers, or other customers at risk.

5. Data and Privacy

Our handling of personal data you submit, including the email addresses you verify, is described in our Privacy Policy. You represent that you have the legal right to submit each address for verification.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, interfaces, documentation, and branding, is owned by Mailliberty and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose. No other rights are granted.

Verification results returned to you may be used freely within your own sending operations. Aggregated, anonymised signals derived from usage may be retained by us to improve classification accuracy.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every verification will be accurate.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mailliberty will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mailliberty, its officers, employees, and contractors from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party right.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms or for conduct we reasonably believe is harmful to the Service or its users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will do so, including sections 6 through 9 and 12.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify account holders by email. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, save where mandatory consumer protection law provides otherwise.

13. Contact
